Ringtone.com
Overall: With one of the widest customer bases in the ringtone market, Ringtone.com is aptly named. Users can also join text plans with this company, and be a part of the Ringtone community. Ease of Use: Once you've had a few minutes to become familiar with the site, you will find it easy to navigate. Their selection of content is good, and free previews give users an idea of what their ringtones will sound like once they are downloaded.
Help/support: They prefer to be contacted through e-mail when you have a problem, but they do offer a 9-5 toll-free support line.
Carrier compatibility: All of the major carriers are covered, including Cingular, Sprint, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, AT&T, Nextel, Boost Mobile, Alltel, Dobson, and Cellular One.
Price: There are a variety of subscription plans available, ranging in price from $5.99/month to $9.99/month. For these prices you are given 30-60 credits that can be used to purchase polytones, wallpapers and real tones. Pol ytones and wallpapers cost 7 credits, where real tones cost 14 credits.
Limitations: Their polytones are offered in Mid, Midi, and SP-midi format, so if your phone doesn't support these formats, you won't be able to download Polytones.
